About
Background
The Working Group will meet five times in 2024-2025 at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) to discuss excerpts from new publications in dance studies. Our goal is to have rich conversations that build community among the breadth of people involved in dance in Chicago. All bodies, minds, and experience levels welcome. Readings and related visual material will be posted on the group website, and light movement may be incorporated into sessions.
All meetings will be held on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 7 pm at the MCA, 220 E. Chicago Avenue. Sessions will be hybrid, and those attending in person must follow the covid protocols of the MCA.
